Zoosh Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
Short version: Zoosh has no account server. Your account data and settings stay on your Mac. The app talks straight to your broker, and the only thing it asks us for is whether a new version is out. We do not run analytics, track you, or sell your data.
This policy covers the Zoosh app for Mac, published by Turbo Graffix, of Los Angeles, California, USA ("we", "us"). It does not cover websites, including the page you download Zoosh from.
What stays on your Mac
Your balances, positions, orders, fills, trade history, watchlist, Practice account and settings are stored on your Mac. None of it is ever sent to us, so we cannot see it.
Your broker sign-in tokens and API keys are kept in the macOS Keychain. If you turn on the lock screen, Touch ID and your Mac password are checked by macOS. We never receive your fingerprint or your password.
What leaves your Mac, and where it goes
- Your broker. To show your account and place your orders, Zoosh sends your credentials, orders and account requests straight to your broker (today Alpaca; Charles Schwab once approved). Zoosh also keeps your watchlist in step with your broker's own watchlist. Your broker also sees your IP address, as with any connection. Your broker's privacy policy covers what it does with this.
- Your broker's data service. To show quotes, charts and option chains, Zoosh asks it for the symbols you view.
- News feed. To show headlines, Zoosh requests them from Yahoo Finance's public news feed for the symbols you follow. Yahoo sees those symbols and your IP address. Yahoo's privacy policy covers what it does with this.
- Bots you connect. With Bots switched on, Zoosh listens for bots on your Mac only; another computer cannot reach it. A bot you connect can read your balance, positions, its own orders and prices. Where it sends them is up to that bot: an AI agent sends what it reads to its AI provider, under that provider's terms. Zoosh keeps each bot's key only as a one-way fingerprint, so the key cannot be read back from your Mac. A script Zoosh starts for you gets a new key each time it starts, held only in memory while it runs. What it prints stays in memory for its Output and is gone when Zoosh quits.
- Apple. macOS features Zoosh uses, such as the Keychain, Touch ID and Apple's check of notarized apps when you first open them, are covered by Apple's privacy policy.
- Zoosh updates. Every few hours, and whenever you choose Check for Updates, Zoosh reads a short list of the newest version from turbograffix.com, and downloads it from there if you choose to install it. Like any web request, it carries your IP address and the version of Zoosh you have, and our web host (Hostinger) keeps them in its standard server logs. Nothing about your account or your trading is sent.
Apart from the update check, none of these requests reach us.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking or crash reporting tools.
- No advertising.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your personal information.
If you email us
If you write to info@turbograffix.com, or use the contact form on our website, we receive your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. Our email is hosted by Titan (titan.email), so its privacy policy also applies. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask. Ask us and we will delete your emails, unless we must keep them by law.
Deleting your data
To remove your data, delete Zoosh and its saved data, and remove its items in Keychain Access. To cut off Zoosh's access to your broker account, also delete or revoke its API keys or access at your broker. Your broker keeps its own records under its own policy.
Security
The Keychain and the optional lock screen protect your credentials, but your Mac's security is up to you. Use a strong login password and turn on FileVault. Anyone who can use your unlocked Mac with Zoosh open can see your account and place orders.
Children
Zoosh is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has written to us, contact us and we will delete it.
California residents
We do not sell or share personal information, as the California Consumer Privacy Act defines those terms, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer anything about you. The only personal information we hold is what you send us by email or through the contact form. You may ask us what we hold and ask us to delete it, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Zoosh does not track you across websites or apps, so "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals do not change anything it does.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version with a new effective date. If a change affects what leaves your Mac, we will show it in the app before it applies.

This website
The policy above covers the Zoosh app. This part covers this website, turbograffix.com/labs/zoosh/.
Each page counts its visits with Statcounter and with our own counter on turbograffix.com. They record the page, the page you came from, your screen width, your language and your IP address, which we use for a rough location. We use this only to see how many people visit and from where. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. Statcounter's privacy policy covers what it does.
The Get notified form sends us your name, your email and your note. We store them on our web host and email them to info@turbograffix.com, and use them only to write back about Zoosh. Ask and we will delete them.
