Your account
You sign in with Apple or with Google. There is no password, and Anteek sends you no email.
Anteek keeps your email address. With Apple, that is the address Apple passes on, which is a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email. With Apple or Google it also keeps the account number that service gives Anteek, so it knows you next time. It never keeps your name or picture, even when Google sends them.
Your handle is made up for you. You can choose your own, then change it once every 30 days. Your email is never shown to anyone on Anteek.
While you are signed in, your phone holds a key in its secure storage and the server keeps only a scrambled copy of it. Signing out ends it on the server too.
What you post, and who sees it
Everyone using Anteek sees your handle, the things you post (photos, title, notes), the price, condition and place on a listing, the identifications and estimates you give, and your standing in each branch.
Only you and the other person see your messages and offers. If either of you reports a message, it comes down at once and a moderator reads it.
Messages and posts are checked by the server against fixed word patterns, with no person and no AI reading them, for two things: links, which are refused, and the signs of a common scam (a request for a code, an odd way to pay, a move off Anteek), which put a warning under the message for the person receiving it. The check keeps no record.
Only you see who you have blocked and what you are watching. A seller sees how many people are watching a listing, never who. Reports you make are seen by the moderators.
The place on a listing is whatever you type, a neighbourhood or a city. Anteek never reads your phone’s location.
Before a photo goes up, the app makes a copy without its hidden details, like where it was taken and on what. The server copies it again the same way, in case anything got through.
What the server keeps to run it
A record of activity: when you sign in and which way, which version of the rules you agreed to, what you post, list, sell, report or message, by number, and the handles you have used. It holds no email and no internet address. It is there to moderate and to put mistakes right.
To stop abuse, like too many sign-in tries, the server counts requests against a code made from your internet address, never the address itself. Like every website, the web host keeps routine access logs for a short time.
It all lives on Anteek’s server at turbograffix.com, run by TURBO GRAFFIX on its web host, Hostinger. Nothing is sold, shared with anyone else or used for ads.
Download it, or delete it
Settings, then Download my data: everything you posted, identified, estimated, messaged and watched, as a file.
Delete a post from its menu, or your whole account from Settings. The photos, what you wrote, your messages and your watch list are erased, your email and your Apple or Google link are removed, and your handle becomes [deleted]. Identifications and estimates you gave on other people’s things stay, as numbers under no name, so their items keep their history. Something under review is erased once a moderator has looked at it.
Copies can sit in the web host’s routine backups until those are replaced. To ask what is kept, or to have something deleted another way, write to info@turbograffix.com.
On your phone
A photo you take in Anteek goes straight into Anteek. It is not saved to your camera roll or gallery.
From your library, Anteek sees only the photos you pick. It cannot look through the rest.
The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it never asks for your location.
On the web
These pages set no cookies and run no scripts. Their typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them.
Age
Anteek is for adults, 18 and over. It is not made for children and does not knowingly take anything from them.
Who is responsible
Anteek is a TG LABS app by TURBO GRAFFIX™. For anything about your privacy, write to info@turbograffix.com.
